Choosing Freedom (3 sessions avaliable)

Meeting Times:

 Where:  Southeast Christian Church, Parker, CO

    Cost:  Each participant has a choice of $12 for the book, OR

                $30 for nice bag & study supplies
                Fees due first class

      For:  Men and Women in the church and community:

  • Who are interested in building healthy life skills for living in truth and JOY

  • Who are willing to step out of comfort and compromise into full potential

  • Who want to dig deep into God’s Word and live abundantly in truth

  • Who desire encouragement and connecting in a safe, support community

    

 Imagine:

  • Moving from survival to abundant living

  • Becoming all God intended you to be

  • Learning to live in the Truth and let go of the Lies

  • Having a community committed to support and pray for you

  • Experiencing God’s healing, wholeness and freedom

 

Sept. 8-15, 2007 – Trail Guide Treat & Retreat Week

 Where:  Colorado, USA (specifics TBA)

 

    Cost:  $100/person, $150/couple for the week;

                 meals on your own

                 Fees due June. 30, 2007
 

      For:  All registered P2FF Trail Guides and their families

 Purpose:

  • Refreshing connection and restful quiet time with the Lord and His people

  • Prayer and planning – seeking the Lord’s direction, protection and provision as P2FF grows and reaches far beyond all we can ask or imagine

 Overview:

  • Morning prayer, sharing, planning

  • Afternoon personal time for connecting with God and others, recreation, fun and refreshment

  • During the Weekend – Welcome, support and develop mentoring relationships with New Trail Guides

  •  REGISTER EARLY!

  

Sept. 14-15, 2007 – New Trail Guide & Pathfinder Connection Weekend

 Where:  Colorado, USA (specifics TBA)

 

    Cost: 

  • New Trail Guides: $100 for 15 hours of extensive, hands-on training, training materials and connection with registered P2FF Trail Guide mentors

  • Pathfinders are welcome FREE to Weekend events; Pay for lodging if you choose to stay overnight

  • Lodging costs vary:                                                            (Meals on your own except for Saturday lunch – specifics TBA)

    • $40/night (4 sharing a condo)

    • $50/night (3 sharing a condo)

    • $75/night (2 sharing a condo)

    • $150/night (single person occupancy)

  • New Trail Guides and Pathfinders are welcome to find their own lodging or drive in for the day

  • Tuition and lodging fees due June 30, 2007

  • Meet the New Trail Guide applicants, welcome and introduce them into the community and training process

  • Enjoy personal connection with Pathfinders and hear how God is working in their lives

  • Build community of encouragement, iron-on-iron support and prayer

  • Experience joyful, open interaction and friendships

 Overview:

  • Two Tracks:

    • New Trail Guide Track –

      • Level 1 Training and connection with P2FF Trail Guide community

      • Introduction to P2FF Body Work

      • Small group activities to connect with other Trail Guides and Pathfinders

      • Personal time for refreshment, rest, recreation

    • Pathfinder Track –

      • Small group activities to build connections with other Pathfinders and Trail Guides

      • Sharing and hearing how God is using P2FF to change lives

      • Time for rest, recreation and refreshment

    • REGISTER EARLY!

  

April 22, 2007 – P2FF Truth & Trust Experience

Where:  Six Flags Elitch Gardens - Denver, CO

 

    Cost:  $21.00 per person (ages 5-70 – under 5 years old and

                 over 70 are free)
                 Due date for sign-up and payment: March 31, 2007

 

      For:  All registered P2FF Trail Guides, Pathfinders, and

                 their families

 

 

Purpose:

  • To FEEL safety and trust as you step out of your comfort zone in small or large ways

  • To enjoy fellowship and family fun when the park is not open to the public - in April and again in the fall (both April and Sept-Oct. tickets included in the $21 price – a fabulous discount!!)

  • To EXPERIENCE challenges that build character, teamwork and leadership skills

 Overview:

  • Full day at Six Flags Elitch Gardens in Denver, CO on special, non-public days (spring & fall)

  • Challenge yourself on a rock climbing wall, roller coasters or just enjoy the carousel.

  • Lunch together and personal sharing.

  • recreation, fun and refreshment

 

Sept. 2008 – Africa Training

Where:  Kenya and South Africa

    Cost:  (Approx.three week mission trip – funds to be raised

                for all costs) estim. $4000/person

 

Sign-up/fund raising starts January 2008; commitment by May 2008; final payment July 2008

     For: 

  • Registered P2FF Trail Guides called to serve on this mission trip.
  • Those supporting the training must be active P2FF Pathfinders, familiar with the Pathway Steps and tools to effectively support the training.

Purpose:

  • Bring God’s love, truth and hope to the hurt and hungry people of Africa

  • Provide continuing support and training for lay and professional counselors in South Africa and Kenya

  • Connect with the people, culture and land – show God’s love through providing needed supplies and personal visits

 Overview:

  • Meet leaders in the efforts to fight AIDS, domestic violence and prejudice

  • Two weeks of concentrated P2FF training and support to lay and professional workers who have hearts to:

    ·    Equip care givers and care receivers to know and live in

          God’s truth

    ·    Empower the people to use the effective tools of the

          Pathway for life and health

    ·    Apply God’s Word to the needs of the people in valuable,
